ABBAS JAFRI, MD, FACP
Abbas Jafri, MD, FACP, is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care with office locations in Spring and Huntsville, Texas. As the managing partner and founder of Main Street Medical Clinic for over 15 years, Dr. Jafri leads a skilled team of adult primary care specialists to help patients with all of their health and wellness needs.
Dr. Jafri graduated from the prestigious Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan, with his doctorate in medicine in 1997. He then completed his advanced training in internal medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2002. Upon completion, he went on to receive his fellowship training in hospice and palliative medicine in 2011.
As a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Jafri is committed to only delivering the highest quality care for your health and well-being. He started his private practice in 2007 and has been practicing medicine in Texas for over 20 years.
At Main Street Medical Clinic, Dr. Jafri continues to dedicate himself to helping local patients in The Woodlands, Conroe, Spring, and Huntsville, Texas areas. He currently lives in The Woodlands with his wife and their two wonderful children.
With fluency in English, Urdu, and Punjabi, Dr. Jafri is always willing to help patients with their health needs through their preferred communication. He is also a world traveler and loves to interact with patients of all backgrounds.
Physician
Dr. Abdullah completed his fellowship in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Bridgeport Hospital, Yale University School Of Medicine. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine He has been practicing the Conroe, Spring, Huntsville areas for the last 20 years. In his free time, Dr. Abdullah enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
Lauren received her Master of Science in Nursing in 2019 from one of the nation’s top nursing schools, The University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston. She previously received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington and has more than 13 years of experience as a registered nurse working in a medical/surgical/telemetry inpatient unit.
As a Board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, her clinical focus includes adolescents, adults, and the aging population. She completed her adult-gerontology clinical training in infectious disease, travel medicine, and primary care with a focus in chronic conditions and geriatrics.
As native Texans, her and her husband are big football fans and never miss a game, go Texans and Longhorns! In her spare time, she enjoys reading, walking her rescue dogs, and spending time outdoors.
Syed works with families to provide information on dementia and memory care living options such as assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing facilities. Syed is committed to working closely with families to provide the right information for their unique situation and the next steps for finding and providing the best care for their loved ones.
His mission is to provide each client with unbiased professional advice recognizing their unique situation and upholding the highest ethical standards. Providing ‘peace of mind’ to families when it comes to dementia care helps families avoid getting mis-informed and misdirected.
Syed has lived in Greater Houston area since 2001. Syed graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in Business and later completed a master’s degree in Business at
Prairie View Texas A&M University. He currently lives in Cypress with his wife and three lovely children.

Dusty Best is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Main Street Medical Clinic. Born on Galveston Island and raised in the foothills of Appalachia, in Southern Ohio. Dusty received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University in 2015. She then began the work of building a strong nursing foundation with many years of practice in critical care, cardiac stepdown, home health, and case management. She achieved these accomplishments while raising a family and farming in the valley of Wayne National Forest.
In 2019, Dusty began her journey to achieve her lifelong dream of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner by attending the University of Texas Medical Branch. She graduated in 2022 and quickly began practicing with Dr. Abbas Jafri.
Dusty feels it is critical to provide patient-driven care while ensuring she is up to date on evidence-based practices throughout the vast medical field. She finds joy in reading medical journals, researching databases such as Up-To-Date, and collaborating with her peers. In her free time, Dusty is a wife and mother of 5 children. She enjoys giving back to her community through the Catholic Church, traveling, and educating her family on what today’s world has to offer its youth.

Monaliza Tharani is a dedicated and compassionate board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in nursing and extensive experience across diverse clinical settings. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington in May 2026, following her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan, and a Bachelor of Commerce.
With more than 15 years of nursing experience across the United Kingdom and the United States, Monaliza has developed a broad clinical background in adult healthcare. During her nine years in the United Kingdom, she gained experience in inpatient cardiology, medical-surgical nursing, emergency care, and dementia care. Since moving to the United States, she has continued to expand her expertise through seven years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation and medical-surgical oncology, including chemotherapy infusions. She is also a certified medical-surgical nurse with a focus on providing high-quality care to adult patients.
Throughout her nursing career, Monaliza has remained deeply committed to compassionate, patient-centered care. Her dedication to her patients has been recognized through multiple DAISY Award nominations and several DAISY Awards over the past five years. She believes in treating every patient with dignity, empathy, and respect while combining clinical expertise with evidence-based practice.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Monaliza is passionate about providing safe, comprehensive, and individualized care across the lifespan. She is committed to continued learning and regularly engages in medical research and professional education to remain current with evolving evidence-based practices and advances in healthcare.
Outside of her professional life, Monaliza enjoys spending quality time with her family and continuing to learn about medicine and healthcare. She brings the same dedication, compassion, and enthusiasm to her practice that have defined her nursing career.

Najla Green is a dedicated and accomplished healthcare professional with a strong foundation in both the clinical and administrative sides of medicine. She is a proud alumna of Prairie View A&M University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 1997, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2001. Her early career began in the high-intensity environment of the Medical ICU at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston. As a military spouse, she adapted to the demands of relocation by diversifying her professional experiences, serving in roles such as ICU agency nurse, pain management nurse, case manager, and Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS). In her role as a clinical documentation consultant, she traveled across the country creating and refining Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) programs, driving compliant practices, and generating millions of dollars in revenue enhancements for healthcare systems.
In 2023, she expanded her expertise by earning a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specialization from The University of Texas at Arlington, focusing on providing compassionate, holistic care across the lifespan. She is especially passionate about caring for the elderly, believing deeply in preserving dignity, promoting wellness, and enhancing quality of life for aging populations. Her approach to healthcare blends deep clinical knowledge with empathy and advocacy, making her a trusted provider and leader in every setting she serves. Outside of her professional life, she finds joy in spending time with her supportive husband, wonderful daughter, and her large, close-knit extended family. She embraces an active lifestyle through boating, fishing, VR workouts, and karate, bringing the same energy and enthusiasm to her personal life that she offers in her professional journey.

Megan earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington, following a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stephen F. Austin State University and has over five years of experience as a registered nurse, having worked in intermediate care, intensive care, and gastrointestinal inpatient units.
As a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Megan provides comprehensive care across the lifespan from pediatric to geriatric populations. Her clinical training includes experience in internal medicine, primary care, and skilled rehabilitation settings.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys gardening, reading, baking, and going on walks with her husband and their 2 dogs.

COO, Saira provides the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that The Main Street MedicalClinic and Management has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. She also provides oversight and direction for the planning, development, and execution of programs and services designed to provide clinical excellence and exceptional service experiences that create value for the patients/families, referral sources, payers and communities served by Our organizations.

Karla is a compassionate Ultrasound Technologist who graduated from HICCUS in 2024. She is skilled in performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, preparing and positioning patients, obtaining high-quality images, recognizing normal and abnormal anatomy, documenting findings, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses. Committed to patient comfort, safety, confidentiality, and clear communication, she creates a calm and respectful environment while continuing to advance her clinical skills and professional knowledge.
