Be proactive in taking control of your health and wellness. A long and happy life begins with preventive healthcare.
When you come in for a wellness exam, you’re taking responsibility for your health. Preventive health exams should be done at least once a year to avoid sickness and identify problems such as undetected hypertension or high blood pressure, borderline diabetes, or any other potential physical problems before they arise. The sooner we can detect these conditions, the sooner we can plan your path to a healthier, longer, and happier life.
Some of our preventive health tests consist of a daily stress test, heart disease screening, colonoscopy, mammogram, bone density test, or prostate exam – the types of tests we take depend on your age, gender, and physical condition.
We also take routine lab work on all our patients, so we can check your kidney and liver function, complete blood count, and thyroid and cholesterol levels. These lab tests are all part of the wellness exam, and if we identify anything on the physical that needs further attention, we will follow up with another appointment or order more tests.
